Company Background:

Firestar Engineering is a engineering contractor specializing in advanced aerospace research and development.  Areas of expertise are wide ranging including spacecraft instrumentation, propulsion, fabrication, spacecraft mission design, robotics, communications, and satellite space launch. Contract work has included funds from NASA Ames, JPL, the SETI Institute, the Boeing Company, Ball Aerospace, Center for Commercial Applications of Combustion in Space at the Colorado School of Mines, and Pioneer Astronautics.

 

Firestar operates its own dedicated machine shop with necessary tooling to fabricate the majority of our hardware needs quickly.  We typically prototype hardware with in-house facilities.  Some of hardware has included functional monopropellant engines, monopropellant feed system hardware, mechanical components to support experimentation, and composite/textile prototypes.
