Firestar has ample working knowledge of composite design and fabrication.  Specifically, deployable rigidizing composites and all the difficulties that accompany their implementation.  Firestar has studied deployable composites for:

 

-Deployable mobility systems (large rigidizing wheels)

 

-Deployable space habitats

 

-Deployable satellite components

 

-Deployable rigidizing booms and antennae
